Placer Basin Trail (20) starts 1 mile south of Camp on the Boulder, immediately crosses a foot bridge across the Main Boulder River, traverses to the south and switchbacks and follows Hawley Creek to Breakneck Plateau, continues across East Boulder Plateau, and finally descends to Dry Fork Trail 13. Trail has an elevation of 3,300 feet. Outstanding scenery on top of plateau. Length: 18 miles. Wilderness, moderate difficulty, medium use.
