Grizmo Ranch
The mighty Yellowstone River runs through Montana's Paradise Valley where this gorgeous log home resides. This area has changed little from when the Crow Indians were the main inhabitants and Lewis and Clark travelled through on their way to the Pacific ocean. Our home is nestled between Aspens and Cottonwoods on 15 very private acres at the base of Emigrant Peak, an 11,000 ft peak. Take a hike down to our full scale Indian teepee and enjoy the sounds of Six Mile Creek and look for trout or deer, elk and moose tracks.
We are just 30 miles north of Yellowstone Park and 3 miles from the famous 100 year old Chico Hot Springs resort where you can soak in the natural hot spring fed pool, schedule white water rafting and horseback riding and dine in the Chico Grill, one of Montana's finest resaurants. World class fly fishing is available on the Yellowstone River and its numerous feeder creeks including Six Mile. Dailey Lake(5 miles) offers boating, windsurfing and fishing recreation.
Bozeman(60 minutes) has Bridger Bowl for downhill skiing, Montana State University, The Museum of the Rockies with its awesome Dinosaur collection and excellent shopping in this uniquely Montana City.
Livingston(30 minutes) is a quaint Montana town with many art galleries and local saloons. There is a railroad museum and several great restaurants.
The 4 bedroom, 3 bath custom log home is built from full length hand-peeled logs and has many interesting details. The 2,000 sq. ft. of wrap around decking on two levels really brings in the beautiful Montana vistas.
Enjoy a special vacation in a truly remarkable place.
