Brief Description: This beautiful home is a great base for a family or group visiting the Paradise Valley. With two bedrooms plus a bonus room, amazing outdoor space, and walking trails on the property. It offers mountain and river views just outside of the small community of Pine Creek. There's an outdoor hot tub and a large screened porch with comfortable furniture intermingling indoor and outdoor living.
Bedrooms and baths: The home has two bedrooms as well as a large bonus room. On the main level, the wonderful master bedroom has access to the wrap around deck. This spacious room has a king size bed, as well as an en suite bath with a tile walk-in shower and a claw foot tub. For added convenience there is also a washer and dryer off the master bedroom (the 2nd set you'll find in the home). Also on the main level is a second master bedroom with a queen sized bed and en suite bath. The 3/4 bath has a fabulous new tiled shower. This bedroom also has a flat screen TV and direct access to the screened-in porch. Above the garage is a bonus room with a bunk bed that is full size on the bottom with a twin on the top and a queen size bed. This room also has a TV area with a 55" Smart TV and a couch and love seat for comfortable seating.
Kitchen: Elk Run has a large a gourmet kitchen, high-end stainless steel appliances, walk-in pantry for additional food storage and everything you need to prepare meals for your group. There is also a gas barbecue on the deck for outdoor cooking.
Dining area: The dining room table seats eight plus there is a leaf and chairs available for additional seating up to 12. There is also a fabulous rustic table in dinette area just off the kitchen that seats four, and there is seating for three more at the bar.
Living room: The super comfy and spacious living room is beautifully furnished and open to the kitchen and dining area. There are 2 full size couches, leather recliner and a love seat. This room adjoins a large screened in porch with lounge style outdoor seating.
Setting, acreage, and views: Elk Run is located immediately south of the tiny hamlet of Pine Creek in the Paradise Valley. Pine Creek has a café/bar that hosts some surprisingly good local musicians. It's a great place to walk to for a little evening fun! The home sits on 5 acres, with a small pond with a small stream flowing to it, walking trail, and stunning Absaroka Mountain and Yellowstone River views. The home is directly across from the Forest Service access road to Pine Creek Lake trail. A quick 2 mile drive up the road leads to a wonderful 2 mile round trip hike to a stunning waterfall.
Outdoor Amenities: On the west side of the house you have a screened in porch and outdoor space with a hot tub that seats 7 people overlooking the pond. On the east side there is a deck with mountain views and on the north deck there is a ping pong table. There is also one adult and one child bicycle available for use.
Nearby Activities: Besides hiking and mountain biking on nearby trails, there is fishing on the world renowned Yellowstone with one of many accesses just 1.5 miles away, horseback riding, tours of Yellowstone National Park, and everything that the towns of Livingston, Gardiner and Bozeman have to offer. Chico Hot Springs, with a great restaurant and saloon, a large mineral pool for soaking, horseback riding and spa services, is just fifteen minutes away.
Closest town and airport: You are 12 miles to Livingston and 45 miles to Gardiner. Bozeman's Gallatin Field airport is just under an hour from the home.
