Join Outreach Program Manager Ashley Hall for a day of exploring the backside of the beautiful Sacagawea Peak, in search of crinoids, corals, and stromatolites, full of 300-million-year-old ocean fossils in the Bridger Mountains. This hike will be strenuous and cover 5 miles on foot, with the option to summit Sacagawea Peak. Please wear sturdy hiking shoes, bring a sack lunch, and plenty of water, and dress appropriately for the weather. The exact location to meet and further details will be emailed to you a week before the trip. Get ready for a good hike by lacing up your boots!
