It’s a great place to learn about and witness these beautiful creatures. Each animal has a story as to why they are there and it’s amazing to see these guys up close and personal without them eating you. View this post on Instagram Love this shot by 📷 @kevinnoblephoto! Fall fly fishing on the Madison River is on the bucket list for many anglers. And it should be. Not only do you have a chance at giant brown trout who are aggressively feeding, but you will be surrounded with the spectacular fall views, sounds, and smells of magical Yellowstone. We should all have a place like this that we cherish. I remember a scene in a movie where the cab driver kept a picture of a tropical beach taped to his visor. When he needed an escape from his day he would simply fold down the visor, stare at the photo, and wander off to his happy place. That’s what this image does for me. I can close my eyes and picture standing in this river, fly rod in hand with the hope that a fish will rise. #happyplace #yellowstonephotographer #flyfishing #madisonriver . . . . . #flyfishingaddict #yellowstone #ynp #yellowstonepark ##yellowstonenationalpark #yellowstonelive #yellowstonelife #flygals #flyguy #flyfishingart #flyfishingjunkie #yellowstonecountry #montanamoment #visitmontana #bigsky #bigskycountry #visitbigsky #browntrout #trout #rainbowtrout #bigskymontana #landscapephotography #flyfishingonly #troutfishing #beyondyellowstone 📷 @kevinnoblephoto A post shared by Yellowstone Country Montana (@yellowstonecountry) on Nov 2, 2019 at 8:50am PDT

View this post on Instagram Beautiful shot by 📷 @kevinnoblephoto “The King of Yellowstone” During the first week of my assignment in Yellowstone the traffic was, at times, maddening. But it wasn’t the usual traffic that you first associate with Yellowstone. No, this traffic wasn’t from the tour buses or the millions of visitors that come here every year. It was from the hosts. Bison were around every turn, and they had me both frustrated and bemused. I was here to get an “iconic Yellowstone road” image, and they were in my way. Literally. It took a couple of days to sink in to my thick skull that nothing says Yellowstone like a mighty bison marching down the middle of the road. So, I decided that whichever site I chose for my image, the bison had to be a part of it. This prehistoric beast has been around forever, and has adapted to the changing world around him. So, I began to wonder why he hasn’t adapted to the countless cars and buses that frequent our nations first national park. Elk, deer, pronghorn, and many other species have adapted. THEY WILL MOVE from the roads at the first sign of a vehicle. Not so for the Bison. But why? After two weeks and over a thousand miles of driving in the park looking for this shot, the answer was clear; he chooses not to. Simply put, it is HIS park. And he reminds us of it. He is both welcoming and stubborn. He may let you pass, or he may just stop, and give you that look. The look that says, slow down. He teaches us, no he demands from us, to slow down and take it easy. He reminds us that this place is sacred. This place is special. And he is the King of Yellowstone. #kingofyellowstone #yellowstone #yellowstonebison . . . . #yellowstonenationalpark #wildlifephotographer #ynp #yellowstonewildlife #yellowstonecountry #bigskycountry #bigsky #visitbigsky #visityellowstone #gobuffs #americanbison #buffalo #roadshot #roadtrip #yellowstoneart #visitwyoming #findyourpark #canonpro #teamcanon #canon_photo #Beyondyellowstone #buff4tanner 📷 @kevinnoblephoto A post shared by Yellowstone Country Montana (@yellowstonecountry) on Apr 23, 2019 at 11:00am PDT
