The Montana BBQ Cook-off is coming Sunday, June 26th in downtown Absarokee, MT! The annual state championship, teams come from all over the country to season, smoke and sear.

The festivities start on Saturday, June 25 with the Fishtail Family Fun Day. The main event starts on Sunday with live music beginning at 11am and continuing all day. This year’s line-up includes 2GeeZerZ and HannaH, Laney Lout and the Bird Dogs, Marshall Catch, and Milton Menasco and the Big Fiasco.

Full of food trucks, craft vendors and friends, plan to spend the day.

Over $12,000 in prizes are up for grabs. As an officially sanctioned event of the Kansas City BBQ Society, the Grand Champion qualifies for the American Royal, the World Series of Barbecue®, held in Kansas City, MO and the Jack Daniels Invitational in Lynchburg, TN.
