The Who House

Who House, as we love to call her, is our very comfortable two story Victorian era home that has been recently upgraded and remodeled through a detailed restoration. There are three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The first floor has the largest bedroom with a queen bed, double closets and a patio. The downstairs bathroom has an extra long claw foot tub with a separate shower. There is an adjacent laundry area. Also downstairs is the kitchen, a den room, and a large family gathering room that has the A/V system and the dining table which seats six very comfortably but could accommodate eight with additional chairs from the kitchen. Upstairs has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and T.V., and the other with two cozy twins. The upstairs bathroom has a soaking tub with marble floors.

The Who House is relaxing, quiet, convenient and secure. You'll feel just plain old "tucked in" while staying in this 1890's gem. It is an incredible getaway - relax on one of the three patios or in the yard and soak up the small town atmosphere with a backdrop of the Absaroka Mountain range and our famous Big Sky; have a casually elegant dinner party with the wonderful everyday or holiday tableware and fully equipped kitchen; sink into the super comfy wing back chairs with a drink and watch TV; enjoy watching the game, a movie or a cranking up the music with the internally wired surround sound system; have some quiet time in the den; get comfortable in one of the club chairs with your computer or a book and watch it snow on the Douglas fir tree through the patio door. If you are here in the summer and early fall, enjoy lazing around the garden, eating organic herbs and vegetables, and picnicking and sunbathing in the large, private, beautifully landscaped yard.

The house has everything needed for a perfect vacation. It is loaded with books, playing cards, and puzzles. There is a state of the art entertainment system, classical and jazz CD's, and an iPod port - so bring your CD's and DVD's and iPods. There is also wireless high speed Internet. There are plenty of pillows, down comforters, towels. In the kitchen, there are new appliances - a gas stove, dishwasher, along with pots, pans, silverware and culinary spices. Throughout the home is a delightful collection of original art, antiques and rugs.

The Who House is located: just 5 easy blocks to historic downtown Livingston with movies, great restaurants, art galleries and shops; 1/2 mile to the Yellowstone River; 1 block to the Old Eastside School and Cultural Center- home to Crazy Mountain Productions and the Dulce Theatre; four blocks to the Blue Slipper Theater and the Firehall Athletic Club; 2 miles to the North Side Soccer Fields; 10 minutes to Paradise Valley- a mesmerizing land of sky reaching peaks above the Yellowstone River; 20 minutes to Chico Hot Springs; 1 hour to beautiful and legendary Yellowstone National Park; 25 minutes to Bozeman, MT- home of Montana State University, and the Museum of the Rockies; 40 minutes to Bridger Bowl Ski Area, a skiers winter wonderland and home to the 2012 NCAA Skiing Championships in March.
