Brief Description: North Wallace Retreat, originally built in 1863, was recently transformed into a tastefully modern home with high-end amenities. The cool grey interior, funky lime green accents, and original modern artwork give the home an upscale and current feel and it's only a five-minute walk to Bozeman's lively Main Street with galleries, shopping, and restaurants.

Bedrooms and baths: The home has three bedrooms, all located upstairs. The master suite features a king bed with an open plan that connects to a large soaking tub, walk-in shower, and double sink bathroom. A second bedroom features a queen bed, while the third bedroom has a single day bed with a single pullout trundle bed. The second bathroom with a shower is also upstairs.

Living room: The living room is on the main level and features a large open plan combined with the kitchen and dining area. You'll enjoy comfortable seating, a large flat screen TV, and a fireplace. There is a DVD player and cable service, and some Internet Channels, which also provide music access. A DVD collection and board games are available for guest use as well. A wet bar looks out to the living area and features a wide variety of glassware for serving cocktails before dinner.

Kitchen and Dining area: Cooks will love this set up! The kitchen is equipped with high-end appliances, a gas range, and generous counter space for food preparation. It is well stocked with cooking and serving utensils, food processor, drip coffee maker, microwave, and dishwasher. The dining area seats six and looks out to a small front side patio.

Setting: The home sits in a historic neighborhood three blocks north of Bozeman's lovely Main Street. It is also just a few blocks from Bozeman's up-and-coming historic mill district, which features a fantastic bakery, salons, galleries and more.

Outdoor Amenities: A large back porch features a comfortable wicker sofa, chairs, table, and gas grill so you can enjoy our awesome summer evenings. The spacious back yard is a great place for kids and dogs to play.

Activities nearby: You're just a few blocks from our wonderful trails system for biking and walking. Mountain hiking and whitewater rafting are a short drive away. You're a quick 15-mile drive from Bridger Bowl ski area and the Bohart Ranch Cross-Country Ski trails. Fish on the nearby East Gallatin and main Gallatin Rivers, go horseback riding, and take a tour of Yellowstone National Park. The home is about an hour and a half scenic drive from Yellowstone's entrances at Gardiner and West Yellowstone.

Closest town and airport: The house is located 3 blocks from Bozeman's Main Street and about 11 miles from Bozeman's Gallatin Field Airport.
