Brief Description: The LP Ranch was the first property ever rented by Mountain Home. Years later we are happy to be working with this wonderful property again! The new owner has made a number of great upgrades to this modern style log home with great views and great access. The home has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a sleeping loft to accommodate up to 10 guests in 6 separate beds. Bear Creek flows through the property and it is just a short drive from LP Ranch to the Madison River. The rural stream-side location is wonderful for wildlife viewing and is just off Route 287, making it an easy drive to Ennis or Yellowstone National Park. It's truly a magical spot!
Bedrooms and baths: LP Ranch has four bedrooms, a loft sleeping room and three full bathrooms. There is a master bedroom with a king size bed in the loft with an en suite bathroom. There is another full size bed in the loft separate to the master. A second master bedroom is on the main level, with a queen size bed and its own attached bath. Two additional bedrooms are in the walk out basement. One of the rooms has a queen size bed and the other has two twins. There is a full bath located off the hall and shared by these two bedrooms.
Kitchen: The newly renovated kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities and nice serving ware. There is a professional gas range and double ovens, microwave, toaster, and all the cookware and serving ware that you will need.
Living Room: The comfortable living room will have plenty of seating for gathering to tell stories about the day's adventures. The room has large windows facing the Madison Range and a beautiful gas fireplace built into a stone hearth. On the lower level there is a large family room with a TV, a wonderful sauna and double doors to the back yard. There is wireless Internet throughout the house.
Outdoor amenities: The home has a huge covered deck, a small back patio, and a lovely lawn area looking out onto Bear Creek with some outdoor seating and a bbq grill.
Services available: The rental rate includes an end-of-stay cleaning. Guests staying two weeks or longer will enjoy a weekly "spiff up" cleaning during their stay. Additional housekeeping can be arranged with a bit of prior notice.
Activities nearby: Fishermen will have plenty of choices of where to go: the Madison River, Yellowstone National Park or on the Henry's Fork of the Snake River. Other great activities include hiking, mountain biking, exploring Yellowstone National Park, shopping and dining in the small western town of Ennis and visiting historic Virginia & Nevada City.
