Jingle Jog 5K Fun Run Put on your winter running gear, grab your favorite ugly Christmas sweater, and lace-up your shoes for the annual Festival of Lights 5k Jingle Jog! The jog is open to runners, walkers, strollers, skippers, and hoppers of all ages and everyone is encouraged to wear your festive gear because you’ll automatically be entered into the GET UGLY Christmas Outfit contest after the race. PACKET PICK UP Optional packet pick up will be held the night before (Friday, December 12th) from 5pm-8pm in the Mercantile Building lobby located at 11 West Main, Belgrade. Stop in for your BelGREAT goodie bag and race number and while you're there, grab some dinner at the Local American Saloon or have a drink at the Rhino. If you are unable to make it Friday night, you can still check in and pick up your packet between 9-9:45am race day. ROUTE The race will start at 11 W. Main and will then take you on a Reindeer Route throughout the surrounding neighborhoods before returning to the starting location. TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING Parking is available in the City parking lot across from the Mercantile Building as well as along the surrounding streets. POST RACE EVENTS The Get Ugly - Christmas Outfit Contest will be held right after the race at 11:30am. All Jingle Joggers will be automatically entered. Stay for Lunch! The Local Saloon has graciously offered every Jingle Jog participant a warm lunch and the Rhino Lounge will be providing a pint to each racer over 21. PRIZES AND AWARDS The first 150 registrants who participate get some super cool race swag and prizes will be given to the following winners: The first overall participant (not to be included in the other categories) Men’s first and second place Women’s first and second place Boy’s 12 and under first and second place Girl’s 12 and under first and second place Giveaways will be drawn at random and listed throughout the route. Watch for your name and good luck! Please pick up your prize at the finish line. SEE YOU THERE! The event is open to all ages. Invite your friends to sign up! Dogs are welcome and encouraged to dress up for the race but are not allowed in the Mercantile Building. This race is put on by the Belgrade Community Coalition and chip timing is provided by Muddy Dog Sports. ​
