Join Wild Montana in Big Sky on Thursday, Feb. 27, to see this year’s 11 inspiring films and celebrate wild winters. Some lucky attendees will win prizes donated by local business. Presented by Winter Wildlands Alliance, the Backcountry Film Festival celebrates human-powered recreation and wild winters. This year the festival commemorates its 20th season! Over the years, the festival has sparked conversations about the human connection to wild places, encouraged grassroots activism in the face of warming winters, and inspired stewardship of our wild public lands and waters. Enjoy films featuring backcountry experiences, conservation efforts, and personal stories of reflection and discovery while traversing wild landscapes. All proceeds from the Big Sky screening support Wild Montana.
