A skimo race at Red Lodge Mountain! Grab your AT gear (alpine touring, tele, or splitboard) and let’s go uphill! Three course offerings for all abilities: Vertical -a night race to the top of Lazy M, only the ascent is timed. Short -an intro to skimo with skinning ascents, boot packing and fun descents. The entire course is timed. Long -you’ll travel all across the ski area, gaining 4,500ft before your cross the finish line. The entire course is timed. Friday, Feb 21 -VERTICAL 5:00pm at Red Lodge mountain Saturday, Feb 22 -SHORT/LONG 7:00am at Red Lodge mountain Who: Anyone with touring equipment (alpine, tele, or splitboard) can participate. Each course will have strictly enforced but reasonably attainable cut off times.
