How could we not do another year of Red Lodge Randonnee after the turn out last year!? Join us for a fun and challenging randonnee (or skimo) race at Red Lodge Mountain. A backcountry ski set up is required for this winter endurance challenge! You asked for it and now you’re getting it -a skimo race at Red Lodge Mountain! Grab your AT gear (alpine touring, tele, or splitboard) and let’s go uphill! Three course offerings for all abilities: Vertical -a race to the top of Lazy M, only the ascent is timed. Short -an intro to skimo with skinning ascents, boot packing and fun descents. The entire course is timed. Long -you’ll travel all across the ski area, gaining 4,500ft before your cross the finish line. The entire course is timed.
