Sheep Creek Trail (127) starts 0.5 mile north of Independence and travel to Hellroaring Divide. It ascends a ridge between Sheep Creek and Copper Creek and traverses its length to the Divide, providing scenic views. It provides access to Hellroaring Creek on the Gardiner Ranger District. The trail is steep and rocky near top. Length: 4.2 miles. Wilderness, moderate difficulty, medium use.
