NATIONAL PARK CAMPGROUND
Pebble Creek Campground

About

Pebble Creek Campground lies against the dramatic backdrop of the Absaroka Mountains near the park's Northeast Entrance. Open mid-June through September, Pebble Creek offers a more isolated camping experience. Sites can accommodate a few RVs, including longer RVs or vehicle/trailer combinations in pull-through sites. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit with grate. Food storage boxes measuring 48 x 22 x 22 inches are available for shared use.

Day hiking opportunities are available at Pebble Creek and from other nearby trailheads. Soda Butte Creek offers fishing opportunities and there are outstanding wildlife viewing opportunities throughout Lamar Valley. The closest restaurants and stores are located about nine miles away in Silver Gate or Cooke City.
