This punk rock burger shop has a plethora of styles. Try the Bobcat with ½ beef and ½ ground bacon and house sauce. For a side, we suggest the onion rings!

A newer place in Columbus, The Whistle Stop serves thick burgers on fresh toasted buns. This mom and pop burger shop brings genuine Montana hospitality to all their customers. Save room for dessert, the ice cream shop is irresistible!
Cooke City, Montana
A favorite of locals and visitors alike, the food is delicious, and the views are even better. Dining in Cooke City feels like you are tucked up at the ends of the earth, and in the winter months, you quite literally are!
Four Corners, Montana
A locally owned fast-food burger joint, people around the area make it a point to stop at Four Corners for the burgers, shakes, and fries. And with the drive-through option, it's a breeze to get in and out!
USA Today voted The Corral as having the best elk burger in Montana! They also have delicious bison burgers, and the beef comes right from a ranch at the nearby Crazy Mountains. You may have to wait in line for this popular outdoor burger joint, but trust us, it's well worth it.

It feels like a step back in time at Mark's In and Out. Order at one window, pick up at the other, you almost expect a bellhop to come by! Mark's is a local favorite, but they're only open during the summer, so get it while you can!
If you miss Mark's or prefer dining in, Gil's Goods makes a mean burger with house-ground, local Montana Ranch Wagyu Beef. It's rich, delicious, and satisfying. (And you can get a great cocktail from the Murray Bar while you're there!)
At the base of the Beartooth Mountains, situated along the Stillwater River, Carter's Camp is a fun getaway for fishing, hunting, backpacking, or day hiking. The drive is gorgeous, and the remoteness is a welcome respite. A perfect weekend getaway with great burgers to boot!
