Western + Indigenous Fashion, Fine Art, Music and Storytelling Converge in Montana

Montana’s Yellowstone Country is teeming with culture. An abundance of artists, musicians, and writers call this region home, and it’s easy to understand why: the natural beauty is inspiring. Last year, the inaugural Coup de Rouge took place at 9,000 feet on top of Red Lodge Mountain, and now back for a second year, the event will be held in Livingston and Paradise Valley.

For those unfamiliar, Coup de Rouge is a three-day, immersive celebration of Western and Indigenous fashion, fine art, music, storytelling and culture. The first event of its kind, it brings together nationally recognized Western and Indigenous designers, artists, musicians and storytellers in one extraordinary collaboration—this year’s theme: reverence.

Guests will experience horses, historic settings, immersive storytelling, live music, fine art and fashion, all woven together.

The weekend kicks off with a welcome reception at HOWL in Livingston, a newly opened creative house and event space downtown. Friday brings community panels and an intimate farm-to-table dinner at Belle Farms with local cuisine, music, and storytelling set in beautiful lavender fields. The event culminates on Saturday at the Yellowstone Film Ranch with a runway show of Western and Indigenous designers, fine art and shopping, and live entertainment.

Nudie’s Rodeo Tailors, the legendary makers of the iconic rhinestone suits worn by Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Gram Parsons, Dolly and countless country music legends, will be part of this year’s event—bringing pieces from their family archives never before seen!

Naiomi & Tyler Glasses, internationally recognized designers and current collaborators with Ralph Lauren, will be showcasing their work alongside many of the most respected names in Western and Indigenous fashion.

You can purchase tickets for each event, or a full weekend package, with VIP experiences also available.
