Summer Festivals in Montana's Yellowstone Country 2026

Summer in Montana’s Yellowstone Country is packed with festivals — music, art, history, culture and heritage are all celebrated. You’ll find robust laughter, great food, and tight-knit communities ready with loads of Western hospitality. It’s about coming together and celebrating the things that make our region so special.
A few festival planning tips:
- Book accommodations early, summers are busy and last minute reservations are not always available.
- Weather can change quickly, pack sun protection, a rain coat, and a light jacket for cool evenings.
- Most festivals take place in outdoor venues, so consider bringing a lawn chair.
- It's a good idea to pack your own water and stay hydrated — the sun is strong up here.
If you’re planning a visit, we hope you’ll join the festivities!
