Simms The River's Edge - Downtown

The River's Edge Fly Shop was originally established in 1983 and was built out of an old dairy barn on North 7th Avenue on what was then the outskirts of Bozeman. Through many seasons of drought years, high water years and lots of fantastic fishing stories and hard work, that shop has continued to grow into Bozeman's largest and best fly shop. In the spring of 2020, the original shop location was moved to the Nash Finch Building on the East end of Bozeman's Historic Main Street.

Now rebranded as Simms at The River's Edge, we are situated next to the Bozeman Public Library and across the street from one of Bozeman's busiest restaurants, Montana Ale Works. For over 35 years we have been the in the epicenter of fly fishing in Bozeman and in Southwest Montana and look to continue that in our Bozeman Main Street location.
