Old Faithful Area: Divide Lookout Trail

Difficulty: moderately strenuous
Trailhead: 6.8 miles south of Old Faithful Junction, look for a pullout on the right

This trail crosses Spring Creek and climbs 735 feet through mixed conifer forest to the Continental Divide and location of the Divide Lookout in operation until the 1980s. You can see Shoshone Lake from halfway up the trail.
