Riverside Eagle's Rest

Riverside Eagle's Rest sleeps six peopole with three bedrooms and two baths. It's a newer home perched above Yellowstone river with a spectacular view of Electric Peak to the south, which is located on the North boundary of Yellowstone National Park, and Yankee Jim canyon and Paradise Valley to the north. It is a great privilege to spend time along one of the last major unregulated wild rivers in America. Also it is not uncommon to see bald eagles and osprey perched in the cottonwoods along the river as they hunt for fish. Mornings and evenings, deer frequently cross the property as they move to and from the river. The bird feeder attracts a wide range of birds during the season.

You will find yourself ideally situated whether your interest is viewing the amazing wildlife of Yellowstone's northern range (you will be only an hour from the prime wolf and grizzly bear viewing area of Lamar Valley in Yellowstone Park), fishing the Yellowstone River or the famous Slough Creek in Yellowstone's northeast corner, or white water rafting down the Yellowstone through the rugged Yankee Jim Canyon. Paradise Valley and the enjoyable Chico Hot Springs is just 25 minutes to the north.

The spacious deck overlooking the river will allow you to listen to the river sweeping by while you relax with a barbeque or drink. Across the river you might notice the old railroad bed of the Yellowstone Spur which ran from Livingston to Gardiner, the northern gateway to Yellowstone Park. Along this train route a hundred years ago came the rich and famous. Teddy Roosevelt, Rudyard Kipling, Mark Twain and many more came to witness this unique part of the World.

The home is spacious and designed to capture as much of the great view as possible. You will enjoy the ever-changing show of wildlife and mountain scenery while living in modern comfort.
